Trapani and Egadi Islands

The historic center of Trapani is relatively small but very interesting, you should visit the city in the late afternoon-evening. For an aperitif or a dinner in some typical in the streets of the center, there are good stores to shop (open till 20-20.30) and the atmosphere at sunset and into the night is really impressive.

You could visit Trapani in late afternoon after a day trip to one of the Egadi Islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo). To get to one of the islands, take a hydrofoil from Trapani port (which is a short walk from the old town of Trapani).

In high season it is recommended to book tickets for the hydrofoil before.

You can check availability on the website of Ustica Lines, or call the call center.

Favignana is the largest island, from Trapani port ypu arrive in Favignana in about 30 minutes by hydrofoil. The old town is really nice and there are plenty of beaches with crystal and clean sea. You can rent bicycles to move around the island or use the bus.

P.S. Upon arrival at the port of Favignana ask which beach is better to go that day in particular, the advise depending on the weather and the experience of islanders.
